◾Shiva's trident ( the three spikes ) remove the three gunas namely Rajas, Tamas and Sattva. ... This conveys that Shiva is the creator, sustainer and destroyer.Weapon of Shiva”, the Trishul carries the power to destroy three worlds of illusion: the physical world, the world of past lives, (Karma) and the world of the mind, (ego).

◾Gangadhara,Shiva received Ganga in his matted locks (hair), and released her from His hair in seven streams.

◾Damaru, It was born in the void and Shiva danced to the rhythm of damaru, which led to the creation of this universe. Another legend has it that the top of the damaru symbolizes male creativity of procreation (the Lingam), and the downward representation stands for female creativity of procreation (the Yoni).
